Transit of Mercury

On May 9th, Mercury passed between us and the Sun. Despite the cloudy weather, Callista along with the LASTRO organized an observation of this rare event (the last visible from Europe occurred in 2006).
With several telescopes equipped with solar filters and questars on the Cubotron terrace and one telescope with a solar filter and the broadcast of an international coverage at the RLC, some 100-200 people could watch Mercury in front of the Sun.
