As the global population continues its relentless growth, its "carbon footprint" is already beyond levels the planet can sustain. Will technological discoveries help reduce our impact, or should we brace ourselves for decline?
Join us for a public "Science! on tourne" debate (in French) on Wednesday, 27th November 2013, 12h15, at the Café Klee (Rolex Learning Center) with Dominique Bourg (UNIL professor, adjunct-director of the Institute of Geography and Sustainability) and Christophe Ballif (EPFL professor, director of the Photovoltaics ans thin film electronics laboratory). Entrance is free, snack provided.
