Seed Money 2016 - Submit your project until 15 December!
Through the Cooperation & Development Center (CODEV), EPFL aims to promote and strengthen scientific cooperation for development between researchers at EPFL and EPFL partner institutions in emerging and developing countries.
With this in mind, CODEV established the Seed Money programme, which aims to financially support the launch of cooperation projects by researchers in all scientific disciplines at EPFL, in partnership with academic institutions in the global South.
Since 2005, approximately 80 projects have been funded!
Main objectives of the Seed Money programme
- Enable and foster the establishment of collaborative EPFL research projects with partners from emerging or developing countries with a view to increase possibilities to leverage further external funding.
- Support the valorization of existing projects (publications, conferences, workshops, ….)
Research themes
Free, but should address key problems that emerging and developing countries are faced with.
Who can submit a project
Researchers from all disciplines and scientific units of EPFL, in partnership with an academic institution in the global South.
