Our warm congratulations to Prof. Melody Swartz who has been nominated as director of the Interfaculty Institute of Bioengineering by the EPFL Direction.
Melody Swartz is the second female faculty to head an Institute at EPFL. Having an internationally recognized scientific person like Melody Swartz at the direction of IBI is a real asset for the school of life sciences, for the school of engineering and for EPFL.
