PersonalCare Systems winner of the 2015 Graines de Boss

Graines de Boss is a competition for creation of companies. In this year, the first occurrence, the winner is the start up PersonalCare Systems, which is developing a solution with intelligent teleassistance to aid elderly people to stay in their home.
To fight against isolation of elderly people is the mission of the company. This award is demonstration that the vision of the company is the right one; in addition to the economic vision, a social and human added value should also be created.
Dr. Toni Conde is the current CEO of PersonalCare Systems. Toni already worked on the related projects during his research at EPFL and received his PhD in 2005 with Prof Daniel Thalmann. In 2013, he was rewarded for his high-level and innovative work on new learning methods to approximate behavioral and cognitive models for Autonomous Virtual Agents and was the recipient of the Prix de la Ville de Lausanne.
