Material Matters

Exhibition in Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris: September 27-30, 2012
The In Silico Design and Building Classes have been invited to the Advances in Architectural Geometry 2012 Conference.
The exhibition format is a video panorama.

“In Silico Building” is a research class established to develop a critical understanding of new technologies applied to architecture. Computing experiments throughout design and fabrication are performed, as well as empirical “by hand” arte(i)facts. As new dialogs open and new limits are traced around the digital and the analog, the intention is to identify and develop further these case studies as innovative and creative opportunities for the emerging designer-constructor.
