LTS2 Spin-Off VisioSafe Analyzes Large Scale Crowd Data

LTS2 Spin-Off VisioSafe, teams up with the EPFL Transportation Center (TRACE) and the Swiss Federal Railways (CFF) to help plan future railways infrastructures. VisioSafe will apply its unique and patented technology to track hundreds of thousands pedestrians and mine the resulting terabytes of data in real-time. The result will be an invaluable source of information for understanding the flow of large crowds inside railway stations and will help planning future infrastructures. The technology could be applied to other areas such as airports, stadiums and even help shopping mall better organize their products placement by a better understanding of clients behaviours.
