Two talks entitled "Sparsistency of L1-Regularized M-Estimators" by Yen-Huan Li, Jonathan Scarlett, Pradeep Ravikumar, and Volkan Cevher and "Stochastic Spectral Descent for Restricted Boltzmann Machines" by David Carlson, Volkan Cevher, and Lawrence Carin as well as two posters "WASP: Scalable Bayes via barycenters of subset posteriors" by Sanvesh Srivastava, Volkan Cevher, Quoc Tran Dinh, and David B. Dunsen and "A totally unimodular view of structured sparsity" by Marwa El Halabi and Volkan Cevher have been accepted to the 18th edition of the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Statistics.

Dunsen, "A totally unimodular view of structured sparsity" by Marwa El Halabi and Volkan Cevher have been accepted to the 18th edition of the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Statistics which will be held in San Diego/USA from 9-12 May 2014. In total, 442 papers were submitted to this conference, out of which 27 were accepted as oral presentations (two from our lab) and 91 as posters (again two from our lab).
