INEOS supports the Innogrants

INEOS agrees ten year support for Swiss Innovation and Technology Transfer though Innogrants at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL).

The ‘INEOS Innogrant’ will help facilitate the evolution of innovation and an entrepreneurial culture in Canton Vaud and Switzerland.

INEOS has signed a ten year agreement to facilitate innovation and entrepreneurial culture in Switzerland through its support for the EPFL Innogrant programme. Through the ‘INEOS Innogrant’, it will financially support high-potential projects involving EPFL research students and employees.

The EPFL Innogrant programme fits well with INEOS activities in Canton Vaud and the ‘INEOS Innogrant’ award will help encourage innovative projects in the field of green chemistry.

Since 2005, Innogrants contributed to the creation of more than 30 start-ups in all fields of technology. "INEOS and EPFL are very aware of the challenges faced by entrepreneurs. The creation of new companies is an important pillars of technology transfer and innovation. Over the past 20 years EPFL has generated over 200 spin-offs. Innogrants further enhances this work by providing encourages the entrepreneurial process from birth to their first ideas, "said Adrienne Corboud Fumagalli, Vice President of EFPL.

INEOS is a chemical company with more than 15,000 employees and 50 manufacturing facilities around the world, with its headquarters based in Rolle, it is keen to work with local organisations such as the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne.
