IDEAS Lecture | 1st March 2013

Bernard PAULE will be the speaker of the next IDEAS lecture, entitled "Visual comfort and solar path response". It will take place on Friday 1st March 2013 at 1:15 pm in room AAC108 (Building SG).

The axis Integrated Design, Architecture and Sustainability (IDEAS) is a joint initiative of both the Interdisciplinary Laboratory of Performance-Integrated Design (LIPID) and Laboratory of Architecture and Sustainable Technologies (LAST) of the ENAC School at EPFL. It aims to address an increased integration of the various issues related to sustainable architecture within the framework of the Master Cycle in Architecture, Civil and Environmental Engineering, as well as the Doctoral program Architecture & Science of the city (EDAR).

This lecture takes part in the UE K | IDEAS Module 2 «Sustainable Architecture II» programm, which will cover visual comfort and answer the solar path in terms of protection adapted to orientation and balance between light requirements and unwanted glare. Bernard PAULE is architect, responsible of lighting and transport at ESTIA.
