ICOM-EPFL hosts two COST-STSM visitors in Structural Glass

Dr Chiara Bedon (University of Trieste) and Mr Paulo Carvalho (University of Minho) visit ICOM-EPFL in the beginning of June 2013 to collaborate on Structural Glass.

More specifically, Dr Chiara Bedon (University of Trieste) will collaborate with Dr Christian Louter (ICOM-EPFL) on the numerical modeling of reinforced glass beams. Mr Paulo Carvalho (University of Minho) will collaborate with Mr Manuel Santarsiero (ICOM-EPFL) and Dr Christian Louter (ICOM-EPFL) on investigations into the structural performance of laminated connections.

These so-called Short Term Scientific Missions (STSMs) are funded by the European COST Action TU0905 Structural Glass - Novel Design Methods and Next Generation Products.
