Gregory Tucker joins the Laboratory for Quantum Magnetism as instrument scientist and scientific collaborator located at the Paul Scherrer Institut (PSI) Swiss Spallation Neutron Source (SINQ).

Gregory recently obtained his Ph.D. in Condensed Matter Physics at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, USA. With expertise in inelastic neutron scattering, and neutron and x-ray diffraction, Gregory studies varied condensed matter systems including transition-metal doped iron pnictides and magnetic-moment bearing quasicrystals and their approximates. At PSI he will be co-responsible for the TASP cold neutron triple axis spectrometer, which is operated jiontly between Laboratory for Neutron Scattering and Imaging at PSI and the LQM. We are very happy to welcome Gregory and look forward to exciting new projects with him.
