EPFL's Sun Bioscience co-founders enter the Forbes 30 under 30 list

(GERMANY, SWITZERLAND) Sylke Hoehnel and Nathalie Brandenberg enter the list of 300 of the top young leaders, creative inventors and brash entrepreneurs in 10 different sectors.

SUN bioscience offers a universal platform for growing personalized miniorgans, or organoids, with potential for everything from individualized drug efficacy testing to transplants. Cofounders Hoehnel and Brandenberg were doctoral students at Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne when they came up with the idea and helped seed their enterprise, now valued at $2 million, with a university innovation grant.
