EPFL China Hardware Innovation Camp 2015
The College of Humanities is happy to announce the launch of the EPFL China Hardware Innovation Camp 2015 in collaboration with swissnex China.
The China Hardware Innovation Camp (CHIC) will allow EPFL master students to discover one of the most dynamic hubs for hardware innovation.
In the framework of their semester project the students will go from idea to production in less than 30 working days. In teams, they will engage in sourcing, assembly, prototyping and manufacturing a connected hardware device. During the semester the students will have to interact with a local prototyping company to make their project a success. In addition they will have the opportunity to understand the Hong Kong/Shenzhen eco-system by visiting some leading organizations in Southern China (Huawei, Foxconn, Hong Kong Science & Technology Park, etc.). This is a great opportunity to discover one of the most innovative hubs in the world and to interact with students from different horizons in terms of discipline and culture.
