Drugs: What's Up, Doc?

Is there any room left for innovation in pharmacology? Some say that we shouldn’t expect any significant progress in the quest for new medical molecules. Meanwhile, private companies and universities continue to inject billions into research every year. What can we expect from this in the future?
Bertrand Ducrey, CEO of Debiopharm, Olivier Michielin, oncologist (UNIL / CHUV), and Jacques Diezi, honorary professor in Pharmacology and Toxicology (UNIL) discussed these issues in “Science! on tourne,” on Wednesday, September 25 at 12:15 pm at the Café Klee in the Rolex Learning Center.
