Thanks to the Ambizione Grant that she obtained recently, Michela Bassolino is now starting her own project for enhancing and restoring embodiment.

Today 1st March 2016 is the official starting day of the Ambizione project leaded by Michela Bassolino and funded by Swiss National Science Foundation
for 3 years. Thanks to this grant, a new PhD student, Matteo Franza, will join the team.

By combing non-invasive brain stimulation (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) and virtual-reality, the project aims at manipulating, enhancing and restoring embodiment in healthy subjects and patients. The work fully benefits from the collaboration between Blanke lab, the CNP antenna in Sion, and the SUVA Care clinique (Clinique Romande de Réadaptation).
