Prof. de Rassenfosse has recently published a comic book that seeks to popularize the rather dry topic of intellectual property (IP). He has teamed up with a rising cartoonist from Brussels to illustrate key concepts related to IP.

The comic book is centered around ten jokes that cover topics such as patents, copyrights and trademarks and that are enriched with explanations for the lay person. The comic book received financial support from the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property as well as P&TS, the leading patent attorney firm in Switzerland. The comic book has a strong regional dimension, with stories set in Gruyères, EPFL Innovation Park or Bern. It is available in three languages: French, German and English.
