Classes from Sierre (VS) at EPFL

On April 21st, 4 classes from the secondary school of Goubing (cycle d'orientation, Sierre) went to EPFL on the occasion of their Science Day.
After a presentation of the EPFL and a film, 11th grade pupils (14 to 15 years old) visited the tokamak (nuclear fusion reactor) and participated to scientific workshops animated by the Sciences Outreach Departement: Robotics with LEGO Mindstorms, chemistry Making cyanotype prints and materials science Make your own medal.
