A medal distinction for "Airborne and Terrestrial Laser Scanning"

07.09.12 - A medal distinction was awarded to the book entitled "Airborne and Terrestrial Laser Scanning", published by Whittles where chapter on "Laser scanning technology" was written by Jan Skaloud (ENAC/TOPO) and Derek Lichti.

The received ″Karl Kraus Medal″ is a quadrennial prize that honors the authorship of excellent textbooks in the scientific fields of Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing, and Spatial Information Sciences. The price was received by the authors during the 22 Congress of International Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) held in Melbourne August 2012.
